Bud keeps Eketahuna flag flying high

Le Chevaliers d'Argent is a medieval re-enactment group based on the Normans of 1000 - 1250 AD. We train in medieval infantry (sword & shield, quarter-staff, polearms...) and cavalry (horseback with lance...). Our clothing is representative of the period, and is coming together nicely.

We were formed in 2001, and trained by Dave Smith, who also provided club equipment and workshops for armour and weapons. Dave introduced us to quarter-staff and sword & shield technique. We also train with the Red Ravens (also formed by Dave Smith originally, way back) sometimes, and have hosted a few 'Out-of-Barracks' trainings, including one on Sunday 9 March 2003, which was a combined training involving Red Ravens & Order of the Boar with Le Chevaliers d'Argent.
Le Chevaliers d'Argent is an equestrian based group, including associated infantry.

Name: 'Le Chevaliers d'Argent' (= 'The Knights of Silver').

Colours: Silver horse on Black background.

Location: Training occurrs at several places in Eketahuna, so contact one of us for details.
